Welcome to the American Family Political Action Center
The Government Affairs Department is committed to promoting the political process and educating agents and employees about the simple ways personal involvement can make a difference. Through the company’s internal Political Action program, we strive to provide you with various opportunities to do just that. The main components of our Political Action programming are grassroots and political funding programs, but that’s not all. There are additional ways for you to participate in the political process – and our hope is that the Political Action Center will allow you to become involved at the level that best suits you.
Government Affairs protects and restores our customers’ dreams through enterprise-wide legislative and regulatory advocacy.
Far beyond the role of government, politics determines how we manage our own world and the world around us. American Family cannot afford to ignore the political process, because it does not overlook us. Political decisions can – and do – affect our industry and our customers.
As insurance industry employees and individual citizens, we must work together to have our voices heard in the political decision-making process.
